Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Kristina Kononets, an individual based in the Republic of Cyprus (“we”, “us”), who operates the Kinsy app and the kinsy.app website (“Kinsy”). By using Kinsy you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Kinsy.

1. The service

Kinsy helps couples and families keep lists, tasks, events and reminders in one place. Some features are free and some require a paid subscription. We keep improving Kinsy, so features may be added, changed or removed over time.

2. Who can use Kinsy

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Kinsy account. You can use Kinsy without an account; signing in with Apple or Google lets you keep your account across devices. You are responsible for keeping your devices and your Apple or Google account secure.

3. Your content

Everything you add to Kinsy — lists, tasks, events, notes and information about family members — remains yours. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display this content only as needed to provide Kinsy to you and to the people you choose to share it with. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to add information about other people, such as family members.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Kinsy to break the law, to harm or harass others, or to store or share content you have no right to. Do not try to access other users’ data, interfere with or overload our systems, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

5. Subscriptions and payments

• Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store and billed to your Apple ID. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
• If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel before then.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

6. Apple

If you downloaded Kinsy from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. Apple is not responsible for Kinsy or its content.

7. Availability

We work to keep Kinsy available and your data safe, but we cannot promise that Kinsy will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Reminders and notifications depend on your device and its settings — please do not rely on Kinsy alone for critical, medical or safety-related deadlines.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kinsy is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Kinsy in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 euros, whichever is higher.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Kinsy at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@kinsy.app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms; where reasonable, we will warn you first.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Kinsy evolves. We will show the new effective date here and, for significant changes, notify you in the app in advance. If you keep using Kinsy after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes are subject to the courts of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts.
